Will this chlamydia test detect infection in the rectum or throat?

No.This chlamydia test will not pick up signs of rectal or throat infections. You can use this test to screen for urethral chlamydia but if you have unprotected anal or oral sex you must go to a clinic to test for rectal and throat infections.

How does this chlamydia test work?

First of all you have to register online. As part of registering, you need to tell us where you want us to send your pack. You'll then be able to make a secure payment using a debit or credit card. We'll send a discreet pack to the shipping address you gave us. By following the simple instructions inside the pack, you'll be able to collect a urine sample. You need to put your urine sample into the pre-paid and pre-addressed packaging that we provide, and send it direct to our laboratory.

How do I get my chlamydia test result?

Chlamydia test results are normally ready within two working days of your sample arriving at the laboratory. When your results are ready, we'll send you a SMS (text message) or email to say that your result is ready and that you need to check your online patient record.

What if I need chlamydia treatment?
