How long does it take for the NSU treatment to arrive?

If it's safe to do so, our doctors will generally prescribe NSU treatment for you the next working day and dispatch it to you as first class recorded delivery. You'll need to sign for the NSU treatment upon delivery.

Is this NSU treatment effective?

The very nature of NSU is that the exact cause of the urethral discomfort can't be diagnosed. While this NSU treatment should, if taken as instructed, combat the most likely causes of NSU, the treatment may not combat the cause of your specific NSU.

What are the potential side effects of this NSU treatment?

Like any medication, this antibiotic can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or an allergic rash. In addition this treatment can (but rarely) cause liver damage or blood clotting disorders. Who should not take this NSU treatment?

You should not take this NSU treatment if you know you are allergic to azithromycin. This NSU treatment should also not be taken by pregnant or breast-feeding women, or those with liver or kidney disease.

You must refrain from having unprotected (no condom) sex for at least seven days after you have completed this course of NSU treatment.
